While we are waiting for the top baby names 2017 in Germany, let’s take a look at the neighboring countries: Which baby names are becoming a trend there? By using ascendants on name websites, it is easy to see which names are gaining in popularity – and may soon end up in the top 10 names.

Which names do the British find beautiful?

The British website Babygaga.com has determined based on data from this year, which first names belong to the climbers and possibly next year at the forefront.

Interestingly, there are also many unisex names, that is, first names that boys and girls can wear. The British are obviously more flexible than the parents in this country. And fantasy fans will recognize a maiden name that owes its growing popularity to the success of the Game of Thrones series: Arya.
