There are souvenirs from Finland to give away in the “iittala outlet arabia”: glassware and vases of the famous Finnish brand “iittala”, special porcelain from “Arabia”, partly with small defects; definitely greatly reduced. “Edel City” is just one of many original shops in the design district; this sells upcycling products, for example bags made of old curtains (Fredrikinkatu (), www.edelcity.com ).

For all local history fans: “Seurasaari Open-Air Museum”. Open-air museum with historic houses on an island off Helsinki (773902 www.nba.fi ). Nice for a walk in the countryside. 10162482 From the end of June to the end of July, the “Alppipuisto” park hosts live almost every weekend Music – free. You picnic and be surprised by the program.
