Bridal Gown, Veil, Bouquet of Flowers: These things make up the obligatory outfit of a bride – right? Many women now follow a new trend and replace their bouquet with cotton candy.
Cotton candy is actually a relic from childhood. We are only too happy to remember the happy times when you could spend all your pocket money on the hustle and bustle and we were even allowed to eat this sweet as the culmination of the excursion. Colorful, sticky, sweet: Anyone who has eaten cotton candy will never forget it.
Maybe it’s just the memories that are associated with cotton candy. Or maybe a clever wedding-planner came up with the gradiose idea of making sure that the stressed-out bride could eat some nerve food in between, in a subliminal way.
Since this year, a new wedding trend is taking place, in which bride and groom refrain from the classic bouquet of flowers and instead replace it with the bulky dream in pastel.
Because it is not only easy to equip yourself and his bridesmaids with colorful cotton candy, the trend also looks really great. The results on the wedding pictures can certainly be seen.
At the same time, cotton candy is available year round – you do not even have to wonder if lilies, chrysanthemums, roses or even freesias are now available. If you like it in pastel, you do not have to wait for the peony anymore, but grab light pink cotton candy.
Eventually, participants and guests will be pleased when, with all the excitement or delay – which can happen at a wedding – a sweet sedative for the bride and her maid of honor is available.
This trend is also particularly practical for ladies (and men) who suffer from extreme hay fever. The only downside to the pretty alternative: In midsummer, it could happen that the cotton candy melts away.
