Even if you are not in a bad crisis , the 2-2-2 rule could be interesting for you. Because in every respect is still up, right? This formula can help – and it’s based on a very simple code of conduct:
❤️ Going out for a feast every 2 weeks
Go to a nice restaurant every 14 days – and get dressed up for it. It’s nice not always to see the partner in his jogging pants, right? In the end, you’ll sometimes be tempted to let yourself go …
❤️ Every 2 months a weekend together
Wellness, city trip, hiking trip …. Every two months should be a weekend for two in it – outside of your apartment. Regular timeouts are good and can weld you together as a couple. It is important that you always try something new.
❤️ Every 2 years on vacation
Every two years you should go on holiday for at least one week – without family or friends. Turn off your cell phone and treat yourself to romantic evenings for two. Holidays create shared memories – and they are incredibly valuable!
Does not fit into your life?
Of course, you can also tailor the 2-2-2 rule to your individual needs – and shorten or lengthen the intervals. But the activities should not be too long apart, otherwise the danger is too great to give oneself back to the daily routine …
